Your Weight Loss Journey
The Sweat Shop story...
In 2019, feeling uninspired and unfulfilled by the 9-5 grind, Amy Skirvin decided to make a change.
What started with just a few people coming together on a basketball court in the small town of Franklin, IN to move their bodies and make new friends, has now evolved into a thriving fitness community.
Although she's moved off the court and into her own studio, Amy hasn't lost sight of the inclusive foundation that she built her business on.
A fitness studio offering a combination of one-on-one coaching, personalized nutrition plans, and group classes in everything from walking to Swerk, the Sweat Shop is proud to bring people of all experience levels together to feel confident and fabulous on their fitness journeys.
Sign up for a class or follow along on social to learn about the next event — you're sure to leave with a new friend.
MAKING FITNESS FUN
meet the dream team
Instructor + Owner
I am at my core a lazy girl! I love to lay on the couch and binge my favorite shows. I enjoy eating and drinking with family and friends too! That is why I need Sweat Shop more than anyone who joins! I get the struggle of trying to get fit and stay fit. I create classes and programs that help women like myself who are over scheduled, stressed out need to take care of themselves! And I say if it isn't fun, what's the point? You will never take the same class twice because my ADD brain is always getting bored and creating something new. I'd love to meet you and show you working out doesn't have to suck and there are women who will love you and support you. Just come.

Why Sweat Shop?

"The environment at Sweat Shop is so inviting and fun. The workouts are tough. The connection to this gym felt right from the get go with a strong sense of community. You know right away that all the instructors genuinely care about you and your well being (body, mind, and soul). Also worth mentioning, the instructors make sure that you’re having a good time. Some classes are high energy, loud, fun, and painful ; while others are peaceful, soft, and beautiful. 10/10 would recommend."
