Maybe You Don’t Hate Working Out. Maybe You’re Just Bored.
Have you ever started a workout at home, made it about 12 minutes and thought…
Yeah, I’m done. 😂
You’re bored. You keep checking the clock. You’re already thinking about everything else you could be doing.
And then you tell yourself, “I’m just not good at sticking with exercise.”
But maybe consistency isn’t the problem.
Maybe you just haven’t found a workout you actually enjoy.
That’s one of my favorite things about group fitness. The music is on, someone else is leading, women around you are working right alongside you—and before you know it, the class is over.
And at Sweat Shop, you don’t have to do the same workout every day.
Want to lift heavier? Try Strength Training.
Want cardio that feels fun? Step or Aerobics.
Want something low impact? Sculpt, Barre or Yoga.
Want to sweat and push yourself? Boot Camp or Power Hour.
Want exercise that barely feels like exercise? Come Line Dancing.
We have different styles, instructors and intensity levels because there is no ONE right way to work out.
You can modify. You can take breaks. You can start exactly where you are.
The best workout isn’t necessarily the hardest one.
It’s the one you’ll actually come back and do again.
So if you keep starting workouts and quitting halfway through, stop assuming you’re the problem.
Come try something different.
Pick a class at Sweat Shop, sign up and give yourself permission to find a workout you actually LIKE. 💗 Amy
