You can actually be happy.

I work for two woman owned businesses filled female clients so I deal with A LOT of women and, obviously, I am a woman myself. Well, I've noticed a trend that I'm not loving and it's been on my mind lately.
We need to not be so afraid to celebrate and we need to let people have their moment. We are either scared to celebrate ourselves and each other or we just can't give someone their moment.
It's like this constant need to act less happy than you are so you're not shining as bright as you want to be or should be.
And I'm over it.
There is no need to dim your light or dim someone else's light. There is so much in this world to celebrate and a lot of us just either don't do it or intentionally try to make someone else not feel special.
I hear conversations all day long like "My husband and I are finally taking that vacation we've been saving for. Cabo, here we come!" and their friend replies, "Well, I went 3 years ago and just wait until you hit that humidity".
LET THE WOMAN BE HAPPY.
This is just one example of so many.
There is plenty of space in this world for everyone's happiness and everyone deserves to feel special.
Be a Girls' Girl, please.
Celebrating the little things for yourself and others is what makes life fun.
Women are so stressed and worry about everything all of the time! We are in this together and womanhood is hard enough.

We need to support each other and hype each other up!
It's so important to whoo in class for someone else, wish your friends a Happy Birthday, congratulate someone, mention a victory you've had recently, show up for someone or yourself in a way that is needed, and just be who you'd want to be friends with.
I'm not falling for the trap of pretending to be more miserable than I am anymore and neither should you!
Thank you for reading something that has been on my heart for a few days.
I'm hoping it brings light to you and acts as a little reminder to romanticize life, in general, a little more!
Until next Tuesday xx
